
Mr. Puryear represents clients in Commercial Litigation, Commercial Collections and Judgment Recovery, Commercial Creditors’ Rights in Bankruptcy, and Commercial Construction Litigation. Mr. Puryear is an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Tennessee Association of Construction Counsel, and an associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
In 2003, Mr. Puryear was recognized as the youngest attorney in the nation ever to obtain certification as a Creditors’ Rights Specialist by the American Board of Certification, on whose Board of Directors he now serves. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Mid South Commercial Law Institute, on the Executive Committee for the Creditors Practice Section of the Tennessee Bar Association, and as a hearing panel member for the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility.
Mr. Puryear is the updating author of Thomson Reuters’ West’s Legal Forms, Volume 10 and 11 – “Debtor and Creditor Relations”, published annually, and has been recognized in Bestlawyers, Superlawyers and the Nashville Business Journal’s “Best of the Bar”.
